Sree Subrahmanya Swami Temple
This temple is one of the most famous Lord Subramanya temples in Kerala. The two-storeyed sanctum sanctorum is in the shape of the back of an elephant. The temple is famous for its pavithra mothiram.
Rajarajeswari Temple
The Shiva temple located in Taliparamba is a fine example of Kerala's temple architecture. It had the tallest shikhara amongst the shrines of its era.
Ezhimala
Ezhimala is a seven-peaked mountain, about 7 kilometres from Payyanur. It is at a height of about 286 m above sea level. From Ezhimala, you can see the Mount Dilli lighthouse, the ruins of an old fort near it and a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The Indian Naval Academy is also located here.
Valiyaparamba Beach
At a distance of 11 km from Payyanur, Valiyaparamba is a coastal island in Kasaragod, which boasts a serene and secluded Valiyaparamba beach.
Vayalapra Floating
This Park is a beautiful picnic spot for hanging out with family and children. It offers various tourist activities like Pedal Boating and Kayaking.
Chootad Beach
This beach facing Ezhimala is quite charming. Located a few kilometres away from Pazhayangadi, it has a long coastline backed by Casuarina trees.
Paithalmala Hill Area
Paithalmala, the hill station located near Pottenplave is the highest geographic peak in Kannur, rich in flora and fauna. A 6 km trek takes you to the top.
Kanjirakolly Waterfalls
Kanjirakolli, the hilly destination, amazes visitors with stunning views of Alakapuri waterfalls and gorgeous sights from Sasippara.
